Louise Bethlehem

Dr. Louise Bethlehem is a lecturer in the Department of English at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, as well as in the newly established Program in Cultural Studies there. She has published widely on South African literature and literary historiography, postcolonialism and gender theory. Her present research interests involve various literary and theoretical intersections between embodiment, spatiality, witnessing and memory that circle the continuities and discontinuities between her South African past and her present positioning in Israel/Palestine.
