Pieter Vermeulen

Pieter Vermeulen is a research assistant of the Flemish Fund For Scientific Research (F.W.O.). He studied philosophy and English and German literature and linguistics at the universities of Leuven, Belgium and British Columbia. He is currently writing his dissertation, a critical description of the work of Geoffrey Hartman. His other research interests include the contemporary novel, critical theory, and the persistence of Romanticism.
